Do you belong to a book/literary group or are you starting one? Are you looking for materials to use in your book group? Are you in need of new materials that will foster information literacy? If you answered “YES”, this is the program for you.
The Dover Public Library is now offering a new adult service…Books To Go. Books To Go was developed to provide new and established literary groups with book discussion materials. Each bag contains a content list, ten (10) to twenty-five (25) copies of a pre-selected title specifically for book discussions and an accompanying folder with discussion questions and information about the author.

Books To Go Policy
The terms of the program are as follows:
- For each group, please assign one person, a library card holder, to be accountable for the Books To Go. The designee will be responsible for returning the Books To Go by the due date. (Note: The borrower will be charged normal/regular late fees if the bag of materials is not returned by the due date. The cost for replacement bags or folders is $5.00.)
- Please stop by the reference desk to select and pick up your Books To Go bags from the attending Reference Librarian.
- Each group will be able to borrow ONE bag at a time. This is to fairly share all Books To Go.
- Books To Go must be returned to the Circulation Desk.
- Please direct any specific Books To Go questions to Wanda F. Nesbit at 302-760-4911.
Remember:
- Each bag contains a folder with author information; discussion questions 10 – 25 copies of a title and a bag content list.
- Please check contents of the Books To Go against the included content list.
- Please be sure that all materials are accounted for and returned to the assigned person.
- Each title can be loaned for a month to the current borrower.
