The City of Dover generates its own electricity at the McKee Run Electric Generating Station located on Walker Road. The generating station serves an 88 square mile area. In addition, the City is interconnected with the PJM Power Grid and able to buy and sell electricity as needed. Residential electric rates are very competitive for the area.
