What is the City of Dover Parks and Recreation Department all about?
The goal of the City of Dover Parks and Recreation Department is to provide the Dover community with a broad, varied and interesting selection of recreational programs and activities. This involves both active and passive programs designed to meet the needs of all residents regardless of age, sex, socio-economic status, race, or any disabilities. We are very proud of our parks. City parks can be found in key locations throughout Dover. Many parks are equipped with play areas and structures, walking paths, beautiful flowers, ornamental and shade trees.
