CIVILIAN PENSION BOARD

The Civilian Pension Board met on March 18, 2004 at 8:45 a.m. with Mr. Truitt presiding in the absence of Mr. Salters. Members present were Mrs. Braun, Mr. DePrima, and Mrs. Mitchell. Mr. Lucas and Mrs. Rigby were absent. Others present were Mrs. Hawkins and Mrs. Gardner.

AGENDA ADDITIONS/DELETIONS

Mr. Truitt moved for approval of the agenda, seconded by Mr. DePrima and unanimously carried.

APPLICATION FOR PENSION BENEFITS - DENNIS J. GENTRY

An application for pension benefits was received from Dennis J. Gentry with 27 years of service. He will be retiring under Section 2-182(b), Early Retirement with Unreduced Benefits. Mr. Gentry has chosen to take terminal leave for his accrued sick and vacation, totaling 180 days, with terminal leave to begin April 17, 2004.

Mrs. Braun moved for approval of the retirement application of Dennis J. Gentry, seconded by Mrs. Mitchell and unanimously carried.

APPLICATION FOR PENSION BENEFITS - BENJAMIN REED

An application for pension benefits was received from Benjamin Reed with 25 years of service. He will be retiring under Section 2-182(b), Early Retirement with Unreduced Benefits. Mr. Reed has chosen to take terminal leave for his accrued sick and vacation, totaling 174 days, with terminal leave to begin March 27, 2004.

Mrs. Braun moved for approval of the retirement application of Benjamin Reed, seconded by Mrs. Mitchell and unanimously carried.

Mr. DePrima moved for adjournment, seconded by Mrs. Braun and unanimously carried.
