CIVILIAN PENSION BOARD

The Civilian Pension Board met on August 26, 2004 at 10:14 a.m. with Chairman Salters presiding. Members present were Mr. Ruane, Mr. DePrima, Mrs. Mitchell, Mrs. Braun, Mr. Lucas, and Mrs. Rigby.

AGENDA ADDITIONS/DELETIONS

Mrs. Mitchell moved for approval of the agenda, seconded by Mrs. Braun and unanimously carried.

Application for Pension Benefits - Eugene J. Adams, Jr.

An application for pension benefits was received from Eugene J. Adams, Jr. with 17 years, 5 months of service. He will be retiring under Section 2-182(a), Early Retirement with Reduced Benefits. Mr. Adams has 67.9 days of sick leave and 22.6 days of vacation leave accrued, totaling 90.5 days. Terminal leave will begin on August 21, 2004. He will receive a lump sum payment for any remaining sick and vacation leave accrued at the end of his terminal leave.

Mr. Lucas moved for approval of the retirement application of Eugene J. Adams, Jr., seconded by Mr. DePrima and unanimously carried.

Mr. Lucas moved for adjournment, seconded by Mrs. Rigby and unanimously carried.
