McGlumphy began his first two year term as one of two Councilmen elected from Dover's Second District. Since then he has been re-elected twice, once in April 2002 and again in April 2006. Mr. McGlumphy is currently a member of the Legislative Finance & Administration Committee, Parks, Recreation, & Community Enhancement Committee and the Construction Code Board of Appeals. In his prior terms, he has served as Council President, once in 2001/2002 and again in 2003/2004, and as a member of the Safety Advisory & Transportation Committee and Dover Library Commission. Mr. McGlumphy has been a resident of Dover for twenty-four (24) years. He and his wife, Stephanie, have three (3) children, Cory, Chris, and Erin. For twenty-two (22) years he was a teacher and administrator for Capital School District. He also was the former principal of Dover High School and a graduate of the Citizens Police Academy for the Dover Police Department. |
