Schwartz Center
The Schwartz Center was constructed in 1904 as the Dover Opera House and was expanded by George M. Schwartz in 1923 into a movie theater that became known as the Capital Theater. It closed its doors in 1982 and reopened in October, 2001 as the Schwartz Center for the Arts after an extensive modernization and expansion.
