Yearly award honoring literarily excellent Young Adult books.

Named in honor of librarian Michael L. Printz.

 

Award given to ten books written for adults that have special appeal to teens.

Named for Young Adult specialist, Margaret Alexander (Alex) Edwards.

 

This list includes books that challenge today's young women to take a new look at what it means to be feminist, showcasing who fought for our rights. (The booklist is named for the American women's rights advocate who lent her name and helped create the popular loose-fitting women's garment, "bloomers".)
